Hi, I’m Phil Gold

In addition to owning this site, I’m also a Communications and Learning consultant, as well as an author and producer of training courses on LinkedIn Learning. My courses include both technical and more general business topics. Please visit my instructor page for details and links to the courses.

In 2019, I released Managing Virtual Teams. This was already my most popular course before the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic; as of June 2025, over 325,000 learners have taken it. As a result, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with companies and business groups internationally on the topic of remote work.

I began my voice-over work as a DJ at a small community radio station in Los Angeles. I was active in the Portland Oregon marketplace for radio and TV commercials during the early 1990s.

During my tenure at Nike, I provided narration for a number of project and training videos, as well as live presentations at large events. Since 2017, I have continued to voice both business and entertainment projects, including promotional videos and short films.

I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t making music. In my youth, I played in multiple bands, and even got paid for it occasionally. This century, I’ve self-produced five albums so far, three of which are available on Amazon, Apple Music, and Spotify. Newer music is streaming via Soundcloud, and there is more to come.

My music appears as backing tracks on assorted videos and other projects and is available for commercial licensing. Please contact me directly for special projects.
